Notes from the Sisterverse: WLH Annual Celebration

For 8 years Wahine Leaders of Hawaii has been intentional about providing spaces for women to connect, share, and be of service. At the end of each year we gather together in celebration of our cumulative contributions to each other and the communities we serve.  2021 tested and challenged us in new and unexpected ways and provided an opportunity to rethink how we celebrate another year of WLH.  Enter “Notes from the Sisterverse”  This November, instead of gathering together in person, we will celebrate WLH with a more intimate connection…notes. These notes can be a letter, email, text, card, video, or any creative way you want to engage. The intention is to create a one-on-one connection with another sister you may or may not know, show love and inspiration, and have some fun! 

Here’s how it works:

• Sign up here by November 1st.
• All participants will be randomly assigned another sister. (The sister you have may not be the sister who has you.)
• Between November 7 and 13 send your sister at least 3 “notes”. WLH will provide themes for these notes as well as contact information for the sister you are paired with. Get creative and have fun!
• On Saturday, November 13 from 2:00- 3:00pm, we will have a virtual Sister Circle where you can share about your Notes from the Sisterverse experience.  (If you aren’t able to attend the Sister Circle, you can still participate in the Notes from the Sisterverse experience.)
• We may just have a surprise or two up our sleeves too!
